PE & Sports Premium
The primary PE and sport premium was introduced in March 2013 to improve the provision of physical education in schools across England. This funding is jointly provided by the Departments for Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport, and in February 2014 the government committed to continue the funding until 2020. Schools receive a sum of money annually to spend on improving the quality of sport and PE for all their pupils.
The sport funding can only be spent on sport and PE provision in schools.
