Year 6 -PE -Gymnastics 09.12.22
This half term, Year 6 have been developing their gymnastic skills in PE. They began their learning by enhancing their understanding of different types of balance, particularly counter balance and had a go at creating their own. Following this, they learnt and practised different types of jumps, rolls and travel movements and when to best use these. Once Year 6 had acquired all of the skills needed, they choreographed their own sequence and performed this to the class; their peers then gave them feedback on what had worked well in their performance and how they could improve their balances, rolls,jumps and travel movement next time.
