If we live by truth and in love, we shall grow in Christ

Under the Sea and Anti-bullying week

We read the story of ‘The Rainbow Fish’, linking this with anti-bullying week and thinking about how we can be kind in our words and actions.  We are going to try and remember to share our toys and to say at least one kind word to our Nursery friends every day.

We have also really enjoyed our learning about sharks!  We discovered there are many different sharks and we thought of words to describe the sharks we could see…scary, big fish, sharp teeth, fins, jaws.

In RE we started a new topic on Birthdays. We held a little party to celebrate Bumble's birthday, enjoying some party games and a treat at snack time.

At the start of this week we made an Advent Wreath and talked about how we are preparing for the celebration of the birth of Jesus.

We have made some Christmas decorations and added some of them to the school Christmas tree.

We are very much enjoying our new outside space.  The running, climbing and swinging  is developing the children’s physical strength as they work their gross motor muscle groups - key to growth and development!

We were so impressed with the children’s hat designs.  They were all amazing and were all competition winners.  Poppy won the special prize for her hat!  Well done, Nursery.

Have a lovely weekend,
