Jack and the Beanstalk

 Nursery have been reading the story of Jack and the Beanstalk. We have been learning about measure.  We measured lots of objects by making direct comparisons using the language of tall, short, taller, shorter, longer, longest etc.

In RE we have started a new topic, 'Our World'. We have been thinking about all the things that make our world so wonderful and everything we need to be thankful for.  We have looked at the creation story in the Bible and how we are able to share our world with everyone. We will also be thinking about how important it is to look after our world for ourselves and future generations.

Before Easter we made a card for the Queen to celebrate her 70 years on the throne. Nursery were very pleased to have received a reply from Buckingham Palace last week.  It included a thank you letter and a card with pictures of The Queen.
