'Happy to be me' - Communication topic
The children continue to settle well and are learning the Nursery routines. This week, via Tapestry, I have shared with you some information on how your child has settled into Nursery, alongside some photographs about some of the things they have enjoyed doing.
We are so excited to learn new things. This half term, our topic is 'Happy to be me’. We have enjoyed talking about our families and sharing our family photographs.
We have started our RE topic which is “Myself.” We have read some words from the book of Isaiah which remind us that we are all precious to God.
We used our handprints to create large hearts.
We have talked about prayer and how through prayer we can talk and listen to God.
Today, we started our learning about seasonal changes through the theme of ‘Autumn’. We read the story of 'The Very Helpful Hedgehog' and made individual apple crumbles. Delicious!
Wishing you all a lovely weekend,
Mrs Corcoran and the Nursery team.
