World Book Day 2022!

On Thursday, Year 5 all looked amazing in their WBD costumes! Each child introduced themselves in character to their teachers for the day - Snow White and Alice in Wonderland! Our day got off to a great start with the hilarious Professor Pango Mango leading a poetry workshop in class. Later in the day, we visited the Nursery children and enjoyed sharing stories with them. The Year 5 children were so good with our younger pupils and it is something we are hoping to do again in the summer term. In class, we continued reading the twisted fairy-tale, "The Sleeper and the Spindle". The children focused on the description in the text and then wrote their own descriptive paragraphs. All in all, it was a fantastic day with lots of fun had by all!
