If we live by truth and in love, we shall grow in Christ

Fireworks and Remembrance

Last week, we talked about fireworks and shared experiences of fireworks that we had seen (and heard)! We made some lovely firework pictures.

On the 11th of November we talked about why lots of people wear poppies. We took part in some different activities to make our own poppies and had a special time (2 minutes silence at 11am) in nursery when we said thank you to God for all the brave men and women during times of war.

This week the children thoroughly enjoyed participating in a role play of a baptism service, taking turns playing the part of the priest, parents, God parents and friends of the family.

We have started a new theme, ‘Under the sea’ and will share more about this in our next blog post as we consider the question, ‘What is under the sea?”

Have a  lovely weekend.
