A Super Start!

Welcome to the 'Nursery Blog'. Every two weeks I will update 'the Blog' to let you know what activities your children have been taking part in at Nursery and will give you some information about the things they have been learning.

I am delighted with how well and how quickly the children have settled in.  The focus has been on playing games with the children, helping them to start to learn their new friends’ names and introducing them to the different toys and resources in the Nursery classroom. The children have also joined in with lots of stories, rhymes, singing and outside sand and water play with Juliette at the afternoon 'Friend’s Together' sessions.

The children have enjoyed playing and exploring both inside the classroom and in the garden.  They have all played well together and are beginning to make new friends. 

Next week, I will be posting on individual TAPESTRY accounts. This will include photographs and a comment of what your child has been doing at Nursery.

We would like to create a display of family photos.  Please send in a 6X4 photo of your child’s immediate family.  This can be either a printed photo or please send an email copy to nursery@stdominic.herts.sch.uk
