Year 5 will take part in a wide range of memorable and enriching experiences throughout the year. These opportunities are carefully planned to inspire curiosity, deepen understanding, and support the development of essential life skills alongside academic learning.
· A visit to the National Space Museum, enhancing pupils’ understanding of science, astronomy, and space exploration
· The Bikeability course, developing road safety awareness, confidence, and independence
· A residential trip to Alton Castle, promoting teamwork, resilience, independence, and personal growth
· The K’NEX Challenge, encouraging problem-solving, creativity, collaboration, and engineering skills
· An Egyptian Afternoon, bringing history to life through immersive, hands-on and cross-curricular learning.
